“ We had a really fun meet up here with a big group of friends. The outside area is really well thought out and a nice place to hang out. We really enjoyed the frozen margaritas and the friendly bartenders too! It was my first time having Taco Flats, and I’ve been in Austin for a very long time! I’ve been missing out! All the tacos we tried were the bomb.com. Can’t wait to go back to this laid-back, out of the way Eastside hangout. ”
“ This place is great! Twas a rainy day so we stayed inside but delicious cocktails. We had the Oaxaca wipeout and Spicy margaritas. I’m not a medical lover but the OW was so good! Great service too. We will return, esp for happy hour. ”
“ At La Holly, it feels like the bar and taqueria are competing against each other to make their respective customer as happy as possible. The real winners are anyone that comes to visit, but I’d give the taqueria a slight advantage. With any taco, it always comes down to the base, the taco, and the fresh tortillas at La Holly make all the difference. My wife and I had the shrimp, brisket, carne asada, chori queso and fish al pastor tacos. My favorites were the carne asada (which had perfectly seasoned meat) and brisket (which had the best combinations of flavors and ingredients), but the shrimp and queso tacos were also excellent. While the fish al pastor taco was an interesting combination, it wasn’t as memorable as the other tacos. On the drinks side, the micheladas are extremely balanced with a perfect combination of salty, limey, tomatoe-y and spicy flavors. The Oaxacan wipeout and spicy frozen marg were also very tasty. ”
“ Great bartenders and the mescalitas were on point. I also enjoyed a nice craft beer on tap from Zilker and there was an awesome food truck out back in the patio area. Great atmosphere inside and out and service was good too. ”
“ Walked in not knowing what to expect. Loved it! Great bartenders that know craft cocktails! Taco Flats is a great trailer there, definitely recommend. ”
“ Visited Austin and stopped into La Holly while waiting for some food. Pretty unassuming bar, but they made some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Ended up coming back a few days after to sample some more drinks! Highly recommend and will definitely be back on my next trip! ”
“ Best east 6th street bar I've found yet. Fantastic cocktails in a very comfortable understated austin setting ”
“ Our favorite local spot here in east Austin, great drinks and service. Cozy atmosphere with plenty of outdoor space for social distancing in the back patio. Great food back there too. Kyle was our bartender and he made our night ”
